Taki Japanese Steakhouse

Mmmm, sushi. I am by no means a sushi expert, but this place tasted really good. I went on a business trip and was there with 4 colleagues who happen to be sushi aficionados - and they all agreed it was quality. The dining room seemed a little dated, but clean. The sushi though is the star here.

Overall, the restaurant was okay. Neither the host nor any servers greeted me or said anything to me when I entered and while I waited on my date. On the other hand, the hibachi chef was very nice and entertaining! I would give his performance 5 stars although it wasn't much different from most hibachi performances. The food tasted just okay, but it was priced very reasonably for the amount that we received.

The chef was awesome and entertaining. The waiter was very attentive. The food was all delicious and very reasonably priced. This is a 5 star restaurant in service and food. Loved it!!!

I have to say. The food was good, the service was good, the prices were good for the amount of food you receive and that atmosphere was very nice. What can I say. Taki Japanese Steakhouse is a nice restaurant for any occasion.

Great food, great service, and even great for kids. My daughter had her 4th Birthday here. The staff was very friendly

Food was good but we felt rushed. We ordered appetizers so I didn't like that the hibachi cooking started before the appetizers came out. We had to eat the apps with the meal. The hibachi portions are very large. Don't order and kids meals, they can just eat off the adults plates and you'll still take home a doggy bag. I have been to other hibachi places where the show was more entertaining and not rushed.

The food was really good, the Chef was funny and entertaining.However, services was extremely slow, we did have a party of 42, but overall the experience was 👍

Good food but they mopped the floors right when they opened making the floors treacherous . My wife nearly fell three times even while I was helping her. The employee's response was..."the sign say the floors are wet". .....really? Not impressive.

The food was great, but cleanliness was an issue. At the hibachi grill area where we were seated there was food that I believe was left over from the previous party and our reservation was for 1p.m., and the ladies bathroom was nasty.

Little bit of a wait because a lot of people wanted to sit at the hibachi tables but overall great experience. All the staff was friendly and the food was fantastic. You can forgive a lot of the food is good ☺. Sushi and Gyoza were on point as well... Will go back next time I'm in the area 👍

Delicious food and great service.

Stopped by tonight with the family for Hibachi dinner and sushi. Restaurant is really nice and clean. Sushi was delicious and fresh. Hibachi chef was very friendly and courteous, he cooked our food perfectly. He even gave us extra! Food was very good, best hibachi in the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area. Prices were normal conserving the food/area and quality. Overall a very good experience and will be back!

Food is superb! Hibachi chef is mind blowing. I would love to give 5 star, but not happy with the server.. Response time is very late. Such a so I will leave with 4,5 star for this restuarant.

This place is worth visiting. They have large portions for affordable prices. Regularly neat and with great ambience. Will come visit again.

Taki Japanese Steakhouse proved a wonderful dining experience for my family. We avoided the hibachi section, preferring to sample their sashimi and sushi menu. The Mai Tai cocktail and roasted brussel sprouts served as the perfect segue into the well-presented and fresh sashimi and sushi entrees. The waiters were attentive and provided many helpful menu recommendations. Recommend this restaurant as a worthwhile stop for those in the Perimeter Mall / Dunwoody area.

Great sushi and customer service!!

We had a three generation meal here for Saturday lunch. Taki was busy but we waited and caught up on our lives. Once seated the waitress was very willing to accept our no egg and no oil special requests from my daughters. Everything was delicious. My shrimp portion was huge! Fun was had by all. Fabulous food. Extremely generous portions. I had the filet and lobster. Off the charts good. Also had a tuna dynamite roll. It too was fabulous. Definitely will be back. soon.

Taki is in our regular rotation of restaurants. We love it! The soup is better here than any hibachi place I’ve been to.

There is a fun fire show while the cook is preparing the meal. It is a hibachi style grill so everything is cooked fresh in front of you.

I love this place! I come here with my family often and it's always a great experience.

We had a wonderful holiday party here at Taki. The food was delicious. I enjoyed beef and shrimp and salad and rice. They offer desert and appetizers and drinks as well.The place is spacious and the chef was so entertaining! He did tricks with the food and made everyone smile and laugh. They did a great job feeding about 15 people. The only complaint was that they insisted on leaving the silverware and cups and plates stacked in front of part of our group and although we asked them to remove it several times, they did not. That excluded about 6 people from our group. And that is something that a good manager would attend to immediately. You never want to do anything to alienate any guests. Hopefully the owner will see this post and recognize their staff and make sure it never happens again(before they lose another big group’s business)

The best hibachi place! And very reasonable not to expensive. Definitely worth every penny!

Not our usual spot, this was our first time here. Our server Kayla was excellent. The chef was great as well. The good was really good. The soup and the salad, and the hibachi entrees were delicious. We had the chicken, salmon, and filet mignon. Everything was prepared as ordered and the temperatures were good on all three. Only thing that needs work, is the rice. But I could just be bias because I'm used to another recipe at my usual spot. They mix in a seasoned butter. But all in all, a good experience. Oh yeah, the facility was beautifully designed.

The food is VERY delicious! Went for a friend's birthday and it was AWESOME! It was also my first time there. The restaurant is decorated creatively and has great decor. I recommend you get the Calamari. The hibachi cooks are full of comedy and make people laugh! Hopefully, no one will get scared of the fire!

Valentine's Day dinner, so the place was busy! We were seated fairly quickly (we got there before 6). Wait staff was very friendly and quick to fulfill requests. The chef wasn't as interactive as others I've had, but he did a great job with the food. Overall, it was a great experience.

We decided to look for a hibachi restaurant in the Sandy Springs area and we struggled with finding the too many quality options and then we ran across Taki. We have only been to Taki once but the hibachi experience was well put together, the food was quality, and the aesthetic design within the restaurant was very neat and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with the decorations, the food, and the staff as we were not sure what we were getting into but we will definitely be returning

This place was just ok. The customer service was great. I ordered shrimp tempura roll with a side of lobster rolls. The shrimp tempura roll was just the shrimp. No veggies. So it was so so. The lobster rolls tasted more like tuna. And the meat (lobster) was dry and chewy. Again. Clean restaurant and great customer service.

Taki Japanese Steakhouse is a wonderful place for a celebration. We took the 3 generations of the family Sunday night. The generous portions of fried rice and vegetables were enjoyed by all. We ended up with 4 leftover containers which have all gotten consumed. The shrimp hibachi and scallops were amazing. The soup was hot and tasty.

Fantastic food. The sushi was fresh and the stir fry was seasoned well. Steak wasn't tough and fried rice was yummy. We'll be back.

Its hibachi was ok , but the sushi was banging !!! The mango roll was awesome the staff was nice until the hostess got into a fight with a quest lol !!!!

I visited for lunch and did table service instead of grill, so dinner or grill experience may vary. The food is delicious, the prices are low, the service is great. The environment is calm and quiet easy to communicate and they have plenty of space for groups. I would highly recommend, the location is easy to find and get to and the staff is friendly and happy to serve you. Absolute must try if you enjoy Asian food at all.

First time visiting... while waiting for family, sat at the bar and had delicious appetizers. We did Hibachi and it was very good. Friendly atmosphere, family and good food! What more can you ask for! Definitely going back.....

A group of 13 of us went over my birthday and the soup was absolutely delicious! They do a very nice show at the hibachi while they prepare your food. got the scallops and steak, superb flavors!This was a great experience!
